Got questions for me? I have answers!

  • How do I place a design/digital illustration order?

Go to the page of the service you’re interested in, fill out the inquiry form and submit. Once you place your order I will contact you within 24-48 hours to supply you with your invoice, a questionnaire and a tentative design due date.

  • How many initial drafts am I offered for my logo or product?

I will supply four initial logo or print drafts. From these drafts, you are to select one. From the one that you choose, we will begin Step 2 - the revision process. Please note: This does NOT include digital illustration or digitoon requests. You will only receive ONE draft from the instructions on your initial order.

  • How many revisions am I allowed for my logo and/or other designs?

I offer up to 3 revisions and modifications on most print/branding drafts. It is recommended that you list all of your questions, concerns, edits and changes in the least amount of rounds possible. There are only three. You will be working directly with me via email and/or telephone. I will continue to work with you closely until you are completely satisfied.

Moderate revisions can be applied to digital illustrations and digitoons. When defining the word “moderate,” this indicates color, object or orientation change. This does not include additional characters, objects, or background changes that alter the original request provided in the initial order.

  • How long will it take to receive my logo (or other) drafts?

Five to ten business days for most deliverables after initial 50% deposit has been made. Please note, these are digital draft ideas for you to select from. Printing, shipping and handling times are factored in and discussed after you have made your final design selection.

  • What file formats will I receive after my design is completed?

I will supply your final design files for general use. You will receive the following file formats: JPEG, EPS, AI, PNG, and PDF files.

SVG files sold and discussed separately. Please contact me for more information.

  • How do I pay for my logo and/or any creative work?

Certified checks, cash, PayPal (via friends and family), or CashApp. A 50% down payment must be received before work commences.

  • Will I receive an invoice?

Yes. An invoice will be e-mailed to you.

  • What happens if I am not satisfied with the initial design samples?

If you are not satisfied with the initial design samples, please contact me in order to discuss further options. If the draft samples are simply not to your satisfaction, we will refund the $50 deposit.

  • How can I view my design drafts?

I will send the drafts through a low-res viewable email.

  • What happens once I place my design order?

I have a 5-10 day turn-around time on all deliverables before initial concepts are available for viewing. This time is needed to thoroughly research your company, product or business. I need to understand your type of business before I can create any unique designs.

  • What happens after I choose my finalized design?

Upon completion, I arrange for all of your marketing pieces to be printed by a professional printing company. This service is included with each individual design project (i.e. except logo design). If you wish to have your material printed by a printing house of your choice, I will supply you with all necessary files.

  • How will I receive my final files?

You will receive your final design files via email. All files are in high resolution and are provided in standard formats for any type of use: website, promotional items, clothing, signage, etc.

  • Will you contact me before my project begins?

I value my clients’ ideas and feedback. Constant communication is essential to the process and put into place to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your custom design piece or digital illustration. I depend on your feedback to make successful deliverables. Not only do we have direct communication before the design project is started but during and after your project is completed as well.

  • Who keeps the rights of the created logo design?

All the rights of the final artwork and logos I create for my clients belong to my clients. I do not provide any kind of copyright or trademark. If you want to trademark the design then you need to research that yourself with a specialist that deals with trademarks. There are many resources available to you on the Internet. I take NO responsibility for trademark or copyright issues you may encounter and will supply you with a written document, stating that you own all rights to the final logo design I have created for you. It is important to own all rights to the design in order to avoid any legal issues after you have used it on printed material. In the case of digital illustrations and digitoons, Gould Graphics and Art does own all rights to the concept and execution and you as the client contractually consent and agree by proof of purchase.

  • Besides graphic design, do you provide any other services?

I digitally illustrate fine art reproductions of any customized concept in my unique, specialized style – no faces. (References DEFINITELY help.) Additionally, I draw caricatures - exaggerated cartoons of individual people, in which I have coined the name, “Digitoons.” Please provide a large, clear, unobstructed photo of your face and I will digitally turn you into a superhero, a singer, a basketball star - any character of your dreams. Offered as face only, half body and full body. Prices may vary.
